Welcome to my web page! This space is intended as a means of sharing information related to my research and publications. Although this site will primarily contain law-related publications as this is my primary area of expertise, it will also reflect my eclectic tastes and broad range of interests. Here you will find information about my business law and legal environment of business textbooks and scholarly articles dealing with diverse areas of the law as well as my fiction and poetry publications. When permitted by my publishers’ copyright, you will also find excerpts from my various works and/or links to sites that contain their full text where available.
As an educator committed to life-long learning, I would like to share my ideas with a wider audience than my students and peers. Learning takes place not just in the classroom, through research and in academic conferences, but also around kitchen tables and water coolers. The sharing of information and informed, honest, spirited, civil debate are the underpinnings of our democratic society. Without them the dystopian visions of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World or George Orwell’s 1984 can move from social commentary to prophetic works in the space of our lifetimes.
